  19. Subject: Word for Windows 2.0--Faxing Graphics

  23. Graphics embedded in your Word for Windows 2.0 document do not fax.
  24.  
  25. Solution:

  27. WinFax PRO 2.0 only accepts information in 64 KB segments. Microsoft
  28. Word for Windows may send a graphic in segments larger than 64 KB.
  29. When it does, the graphic will not show in the fax.

  31. Resize the graphic to a lower resolution, or, if you are using a
  32. colour graphic, convert it to black and white.
  33.  
  34. Resizing a graphic to a different resolution requires a third-party
  35. graphics software package.

  37. You can convert a graphic to black and white in the Paintbrush program
  38. that comes with Windows. See "Working with Paintbrush Files" in the
  39. Paintbrush chapter of your Windows manual for information on saving a
  40. graphic to a monochrome bitmap.
